A beautiful large and plump Jack-o-Lantern design by me,

Stained and covered in all spice and cinnamon he is really lovely smelling and such fantastic looking item to display at Halloween...

Potion Gathering...

I have attached a spell to the front of this very old blue tinged glass bottle, on aged paper.

The bottle holds a sprig of sweet annie and pip berries and has a muslin tie...I have not washed or touched the bottle, it is 'as found' so look very authentic with its stained and grubby inside.

The pumpkin is also included, and has been made from painted and stained calico...

It has a real vine stem and curl.

Spell reads,

'black raven feathers, not too small,

pinch of sand and a sea birds call....

bat wings mixed with an old mans dream,

pebbles from a babbling stream...

spiders web and brittle bones,

a piercing scream, a chilling moan.....

sleeping potion, just a splash,

sounds of grinding teeth that nash.....

a lightening bolt from cloudy skies,

a touch of salted lizards eyes.....

the drips of morning mountain dew,

stir in slowly , just a few.....

oh, these things a witches gladness,

make for others bitter sadness.......

A bit icky, but all in the spirit of spooky Halloween things,

Witches Spell Hat

This Witches Spell Hat has been made from painted and sanded calico, stained and made dirty with spices for a very worn and aged appearance.

It has two hand made pumpkins covered in spices with real vine stems and a small hessian bag that has been filled with the makings for spells and potions, these include nuts, berries, a beeswax candle and some drieds..

Surrounded by moss it is finished with a stained luggage tag that has a section of a spell printed on it, with a key and a small black feathered crow peeking out from amongst it all.

40cm high.

Spell Book

Lovely thick old book that I have covered in calico and then put through the 'old' process of making this book look as worn and aged as possible.

It has been stained, sanded and rubbed with spices....

Spell Bottle with Sweet Annie.

I have used an original vintage Fauldings medicine bottle to make this spell bottle.

It has embossed writing on the front, "MAGNOS OR Fauldings fluid Magnesia" and is made from heavy glass. The bottle has not been washed, it appears to be old and dusty and perfect for sittingin a witches keeping room....I have placed some sweet annie and pinned a stained tag with an extract from a spell onto the muslin, with a rusted pin.

The tag reads,

'a pinch of salted lizards eye,

a lightening bolt from cloudy skies

, stir in slowly just a few,

the drops of morning moutain dew...'
